Pride Cabaret
Taking the Keyano Recital Theatre stage on June 17, 2023, Pride Cabaret was a spectacular non-binary variety show celebrating the theme of "Pushing Boundaries" curated by Jenny Price, who also hosted the event with Zachary Barrett! The evening featured local emerging and established artists in performances that included singing, drag, comedy, dancing, poetry, and more!
To create safe spaces both on and off stage and help emerging performers cultivate their art, SRE offered free one-on-one coaching sessions and ensemble workshops preparing for the Cabaret. We are thrilled with the diverse and, quite frankly, stunning performances we experienced this evening, and to see so many new faces on stage!
