FINDING KING STREET THEATRE

King Street Theatre (KST) is located inside Fort McMurray Composite High School (9803 King St) in downtown Fort McMurray, AB.

When standing in the parking lot closest to the soccer field and tennis courts and facing the building, look to the right of the main entrance of the school where you will see an open gate leading into a compound. Enter through these gates and make your way toward the end of the lot.

The theatre door has a Swamp Rat sign on it.

Swamp Rat Experience is proud to operate out of King Street Theatre, located at 9803 King St (inside of Fort McMurray Composite High School) as of spring 2024!

This beautiful black box performance space is currently undergoing maintenance to return it to being fully operational, and we are currently only running smaller projects and programs such as master classes and workshops, Theatre Club, and Birdhouse Comedy at King Street.

We are hoping to open the space for community events and bookings in spring of 2025.
