Play In A Day 2024

On Saturday, September 14, Swamp Rat Experience hosted our third Play In A Day theatre creation event as part of Alberta Culture Days 2024 at King Street Theatre. We experienced four incredible shows, each written, rehearsed, and performed in just 24 hours! With participants ranging in age from 6 to 70+, the event was filled with joy, imagination, exploration, creativity, and connection. Some participants were seasoned performers, others took to the stage for the very first time - and they all brought something beautifully different to the event!

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event so special, including the participants for sharing their unique voices, and our YMM celebrity judges, who made us laugh with their hilarious awards. A big shout-out to our amazing audience, and special thanks to Arts Council Wood Buffalo, the RMWB, and the Government of Alberta for making Alberta Culture Days possible.
