Kayla Erlandson - Company Manager
Born and Raised in Alberta, Kayla was thrust into the theatrical world when her mother forced her to watch “Sound of Music” on VHS, and she has been hooked ever since. Living on stage through dance and finding her way into Stage Management, she went on to pursue post secondary education at the University of Alberta, achieving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama.
Certifying in many dance specialties, Kayla has taught dance and performing arts for the past 15 years, 5 of those here in the RMWB. Prior to moving to the region, she worked as the Managing Director of the Edmonton Festival Ballet, and as the Fund Development Events Coordinator for Parkinson Alberta. Kayla made her Wood Buffalo theatrical debut as the choreographer for Theatre; Just Because’s Dinner Theater in 2020 while working as the Dance Supervisor for MacDonald Island Dance Academy. Kayla is super excited to be working with Swamp Rat Experience and brining amazing theater experiences to the RMWB.
